Your Escape Back to Nature

Where Eagles Soar

Nestled in the foothills of the Scenic Rim’s World Heritage Parks, these self-contained colonial style cottages are your escape to nature.

Each cottage has their own private verandah and is set amongst the native gardens. They are the perfect place for a quiet weekend away. Or stay longer and enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life whilst soaking in spectacular mountain views.

Don't forget to bring your camera and binoculars to capture the wildlife and scenery.  Throughout the day birds can be seen flitting around the gardens and you might also be lucky enough to see the wallabies and hares that come out at dusk.

Night-time is a whole different experience with an unbelievable number of stars to be seen on clear nights away from the city lights – perfect for stargazing.

You can explore and enjoy our 40 acre property at your leisure.  Have a wander in the gardens and check out the creek, kick a ball or throw frisbees in the paddock. You can do as much or as little as you like.

Lake Maroon, just a five minute drive away, is well known for fishing, sailing and water skiing as well as a relaxing spot for a barbecue or picnic with excellent facilities.

Bilyana is Aboriginal for Wedge Tailed Eagle and these majestic birds can be seen soaring overhead.

"Your hosts Craig & Caroline moved to the beautiful Scenic Rim in December 2022 to operate Bilyana Cottages. We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests to our peaceful retreat and escape back to nature."
